Change in the traffic sense of direction in San Juan de los Reyes
On tuesday 8 March 2016 the traffic sense of direction in San Juan de los Reyes and Cárcel Alta changes.
In response to the proposals made through the Observatorio de Movilidad from diverse collectives and associations to change the traffic sense of direction in San Juan de los Reyes and Cárcel Alta streets to improve the communication of Albaicínn with the city center, independently from the rest of traffic measures that after the end of the mobility research in the Albaicín and its surroundings that this Delegation is being carried out, proceeds to change the traffic sense of direction in Cárcel Alta and San Juan de los Reyes streets,restricting the width in the entrance from Cuesta del Chapiz to 1,80 meters.
This change will be carried out from 10:30 hours tuesday 8 March 2016.
The execution of this measure is made in this moment due to the intensity of traffic in the area is stimated to be much lower (not being on monday or friday and from the time of entry to the school centers).
San Juan de los Reyes will no longer be a way - up street from Plaza Nueva and will be again a way - down street.p>
Carrera del Darro will have the same restrictions. This new situation will be analysed to introduce new measures in this regard if the volume of traffic allow it.
