4. Change of fares of Urban Public Transport in Granada

From October 1st 2024 come into force new fares approved on Resoluction 23 September 2024 of Dirección General de Tributos, Financiación, Relaciones Financieras con las Corporaciones Locales y Juego.

NEW FARES OF URBAN PUBLIC COLLECTIVE TRANSPORT IN GRANADA AND APPLICATION OF 50% DISCOUNT.

Aproved the revision file to revew fares of public transport in our city, by resolution of the Dirección General de Tributos y Relaciones Financieras with Local Entities on September 23 2024, will be implementated from October 1st.

Also, current bonus of 50% mantains in travel cards (Credibús 5€, 10€, 20€, monthly card and Youth card, Universitary and RMP) until the end of deadline stablished by Government (31 December 2024).

The rise of prices approved affect less usual users of urban buses with an average rise of 3-4 cents of euro, versus rising of tickets of sporadic use.

With this measure tries to give answer to increases in prices these last years, and also update them, due to last price rising on 2017.

5. Car Free Day

On Sunday September 22, within the European Mobility Week 2024, celebrates the Car Free Day in Reyes Católicos and Gran Vía.

Traffic cut with leisure, cultural and sport activities.

Place: Gran Vía and Reyes Católicos

The celebration of the #DíaSinCoche creates public transport detour through Camino de Ronda.

On September 27 at 12:00 hours celebrates demonstration starting at Jardines del Triunfo and ending at Plaza Nueva.

On September 13 at 9:30 and aproximately duration of 2:30 hours, takes place the celebration of this demonstration from Plaza Nueva to Gran Vía.

8. Civic - Academic Parade September 13

Civic-Academic parade from Plaza de la Universidad to Rectorate Headquarters in Hospital Real, on September 13 2024.

Parade takes place next September 13 2024 according to following schedule and itinerary:

Start: at 10:00 hours from Plaza de la Universidad - C/ San Jerónimo - C/ San Juan de Dios - Crossroad Avda. Constitución - Avda. Del Hospicio (Hospital Real). In any case, parade must be carried out as fast as possible not to interrupt traffic more than necessary.

The development of this parade affects urban bus lines 8, C31, C32, C34 and N8.

9. Parade Virgen de las Angustias

Parade of VIRGEN DE LAS ANGUSTIAS takes place on September 29 2024 starting at 18:30 hours and ending at 23:30 hours.

PARADE VIRGEN DE LAS ANGUSTIAS takes place on September 29 2024 from 18:30 hours to 23:30 hours, although traffic cut may be carried out at 16:00 hours aproximately, due to the number of visitors.

Itinerary: BASÍLICA DE LAS ANGUSTIAS - Carrera de la Virgen - Plaza del Campillo - Plaza de Mariana Pineda - Ángel Ganivet - Reyes Católicos - Gran Vía de Colón - Cárcel Baja - Puerta del Perdón - Catedral - Plaza de las Pasiegas - Marqués de Gerona - Jáudenes - Alhóndiga - Puerta Real - Acera del Darro - Carrera de la Virgen (central way) - BASÍLICA DE LAS ANGUSTIAS.
