1. Change of fares of Urban Public Transport in Granada

From October 1st 2024 come into force new fares approved on Resoluction 23 September 2024 of Dirección General de Tributos, Financiación, Relaciones Financieras con las Corporaciones Locales y Juego.

NEW FARES OF URBAN PUBLIC COLLECTIVE TRANSPORT IN GRANADA AND APPLICATION OF 50% DISCOUNT.

Aproved the revision file to revew fares of public transport in our city, by resolution of the Dirección General de Tributos y Relaciones Financieras with Local Entities on September 23 2024, will be implementated from October 1st.

Also, current bonus of 50% mantains in travel cards (Credibús 5€, 10€, 20€, monthly card and Youth card, Universitary and RMP) until the end of deadline stablished by Government (31 December 2024).

The rise of prices approved affect less usual users of urban buses with an average rise of 3-4 cents of euro, versus rising of tickets of sporadic use.

With this measure tries to give answer to increases in prices these last years, and also update them, due to last price rising on 2017.

2. FLORAL OFFERING VIRGEN DE LAS ANGUSTIAS 2024

On Sunday September 15 2024 takes place the floral offering to Virgen de las Angustias.

Traffic cut: from 15:30 hours until ending expected at 23:30.

Roads closed to traffic:
Carrera de la Virgen (side of the Basílica). Will be closed to traffic the left side of the road due to the attendance of people for safety reasons.
Acera del Darro (there will be created a special lane to Puerta Real for the participants of the offering, keeping open to traffic the second lane and two other lanes towards Palacio de Congresos)
If needed will be enabled a double lane from Carrera de la Virgen to Cuesta de Escoriaza.

Itinerary of participants in the offering: Paseo del Salón (area excluded to traffic) Plaza del Humilladero, Acera del Darro, Puente Castañeda, Carrera de la Virgen.

Public transport

Urban bus lines S2, 9, 13 and 33 will be affected due to the celebration of floral offering.

3. X RALLY CIUDAD DE GRANADA

El X Rally Ciudad de Granada will take place from 12 to 14 September 2024.

URBAN RACE CLOSED TO TRAFFIC AS FOLLOWS:

START: PASEO DEL SALON (Area excluded to traffic at the high of Plaza del Humilladero where podio is settled) - C/ Acera del Darro, 180º turn in the median line at the high of loading dock of El Corte Inglés - C/ Acera del Darro, towards Paseo del Violón - Rotonda Rotary - back to Paseo del Violón - turning at Puente Romano (artificial straw bales roundabout) - down to Paseo del Violón to Rotary and entrance to espalande of Palacio de Congresos, FINISH. EXIT OF VEHICLES ONCE THEY HAVE FINISHED THROUGH PASEO DEL VIOLÓN TO ROUNDABOUT AVIACIÓN ESPAÑOLA.

ALL RACE IS SURROUNDED WITH DOUBLE FENCING, TO AVOID ENTRANCE OF PEOPLE IN THE CIRCUIT.

4. Vuelta Ciclista a España 2024

The 9th stage of the Vuelta Ciclista a España takes place on August 25 2024 between 7:00 and 19:00 hours.

The race will follow through the following streets:First stage: GR-3209 (OGIJARES) - under roundabout A-395 towards Avda. de la Investigación - Avda. del Conocimiento - C/ Torre Comares - C/ La Sultana - under roundabout A-395 towards A-4032 (MONACHIL)

First stage and arrival: GR-420 (CENES DE LA VEGA) - Ctra. de la Sierra - Paseo de la Bomba - Paseo del Salón - Humilladero - turn right to C/ Acera del Darro (FINISH AT THE PEDESTRIAN WAY IN FUENTE DE LAS BATALLAS).

Due to Vuelta Ciclista there will be affections to traffic on Saturday August 24 2024:

C/ FUENTENUEVA (section between pedestrian way in C/ Melchor Almagro and the pedestrian way at the Faculty of Ingeniería de Caminos, Puertos y Canales) JUST ONE LANE DOWNWARDS NEXT TO THE SIDEWALK 120 m, for vehicles of Guardia Civil.

PASEO DEL VIOLÓN (section between the pedestrian way in Puente Blanco, until the pedestrian way before Rotary roundabout) JUST ONE LANE DOWNWARDS NEXT TO PARKING DEL VIOLON 190 m for vehicles of Guardia Civil (2 TRUCKS).

Traffic cut at 23:00 hours until the end of the event the following day, from C/ Acera del Darro (section between Puerta Real to Humilladero, two lanes downwards, to park staff vehicles)

5. Demonstration June 28

On June 28, at 19:00 hours, takes place the celebration of Gay Pride Parade starting at Plaza Isabel la Católica and ending at the esplanade of Palacio de Congresos.

Demonstration begins at Plaza Isabel la Católica at 19:00 hours, through Reyes Católicos St, Puerta Real, Acera del Darro, Paseo del Violón and ending at the esplanade of Palacio de Congresos.

ITINERARY
The Simpecado is located in the church of San Pedro.
Carrera del Darro - Plaza Santa Ana - Plaza Nueva - Plaza Isabel la Católica - Reyes Católicos - Puerta Real - Acera del Darro (left lane reverse sense of traffic until Puente de Castañeda - Carrera de la Virgen - Church Virgen de las Angustias.

AT THE END OF THE EVENT IN THE CHURCH:
The Simpecado will go to the closed area to traffic in Paseo del Salón where will be released from the bullock cart and will be placed on a escorted vehicle by the cavalry of brotherhood through: Paseo del Violón - roundabout Aviación Española - roundabout Universiada - C/ Jardín de la Reina - C/ Arabial - Cañaveral - Avda. Padre Marcelino - open zone in front of IES Severo Ochoa.

The carriagess: From the first hours in the morning will be located in Gran Vía in reverse sense of traffic from the Ice cream shop Los Italianos to Triunfo (if there is insufficient space, will be located in Avda. Hospicio or in Constitución.

-Once the Simpecado leaves church of San Pedro and gets to Plaza Isabel la Católica, carriages start their route through C/ Reyes Católicos - Puerta Real - Acera del Casino (reverse sense to traffic) - Acera del Darro arriving to Humilladero. (When Simpecado finish the event in the church of las Angustias), carriages start their way without the Simpecado (it will make a different itinerary) and gets to Puente Blanco - Paseo del Violón - Roundabout Aviación Española - Rotonda Universiada - C/ Jardín de la Reina - C/ Arabial - Cañaveral – Avda. Padre Marcelino - open zone in front of IES Severo Ochoa.

The Cavalry: Jockeys of the Brotherhood and the rest of attendants on horsebacks, to join the parade must be properly dressed, the organization has published the dress code and the Local Police will cooperate in this parade as possible.

Itinerary: From Plaza Nueva, together with the Simpecado through Reyes Católicos arriving to Puerta Real turns lefts and follows through Angel Ganivet - Plaza del Campillo to Carrera de la Virgen (side of Ice cream shop La Rosa), where will stay during the celebration of the event in the church of Las Angustias. At the end of the event and after the release from the bullock cart and the placement on a scorted vehicle of Simpecado, will go together through the same itinerary, this is, - Acera del Darro - Acera del Casino - Puerta Real - Recogidas - Neptuno. (when arriving to Neptuno, carriages that have previously started their journey will be in Arabial), the Simpecado will join the parade after the last of them, and, in case all carriages are already in the open area, the Simpecado will get to that point.

Exit to Málaga - Sevilla
At 17:00 hours, aproximately, will restart the carriage parade, through: Parking space in Padre Marcelino, roundabout Avenida de las Alpujarras, access to GR-30 Chana, towards Jaén.

On May 1st takes place demonstration between Plaza Nueva and Paseo del Salón, starting at 11:30 hours and ending at 14:00.

Itinerary: Plaza Nueva - Reyes Católicos - Acera del Darro - Paseo del Salón.

10. Traffic cut in plaza del Humilladero

Due date for partial traffic cut in plaza del Humilladero takes place on April 12 2024 between 16:00 and 19:00 hours.

Partial traffic cut in plaza del Humilladero, on the nearest lane to Carrera de la Virgen (between the pedestrian crossing of Bulevar Carrera de la Virgen and the nearest downards road to church Virgen de las Angustias) aill be between 16:00 and 19:00 hours on Friday 12/04/24 keeping two lanes open near Fuente de las Granadas and the exit of Carrera de la Virgen next to the church.
